Program Educations Outcomes : (The PEO's of an engineering degree program are the statements that describe the expected achievements of graduates in their career, and also in particular, what the graduates are expected to perform and achieve during the first few years after graduation.)

  • Possess strong fundamental concepts in mathematics, science, engineering and Technology to address technological challenges. 

​​

  • Possess knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology for analyzing,  designing and implementing complex engineering problems of any domain with innovative approaches.

  • Possess an attitude and aptitude for research, entrepreneurship and higher studies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.

​​

  • Have commitment to ethical practices, societal contributions through communities and life-long learning.

​​

  • Possess better communication, presentation, time management and team work skills leading to responsible & competent professionals and will be able to address challenges in the field of IT at global level.

Program Outcome (IT) : (POs are statements about the knowledge, skills, and  attitudes (attributes) the graduate of a formal engineering program should have)

​

  1. Engineering knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics including discrete mathematics as well as probability and statistics, science, and computing in core IT solutions.  

  2. Problem analysis: An ability to identify and define a problem and provide a systematic solution with the help of conducting experiments, as well as analyzing and interpreting the data. 

  3. Design/development of solutions: An ability to design, implement, and evaluate a software or embedded system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints. 

  4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: An ability to review literature and research methods including design of new experiments, analysis and interpretation of data and synthesis of the information to draw valid conclusions.  

  5. Modern tool usage:  An ability to use current techniques, skills and modern IT tools 
    necessary for practice as an IT professional. 

  6. The engineer and society: An ability to apply contextual knowledge to assess professional, legal, health, safety, social and cultural issues during profession practice. 

  7. Environment and sustainability:  An ability to analyze the local and global impact of 
    computing on individuals, organizations and society. 

  8. Ethics:  An ability to apply ethical principles and responsibilities during professional 
    practice. 

  9. Individual and team work: An ability to function effectively as an individual or as a team member or leader to accomplish a corporate goal. 

  10.  Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences at large by means of effective presentations, report writing, paper publications and demonstrations.

  11.  Project management and finance:  An ability apply knowledge of engineering and 
    management principles to manage projects effectively in diverse environments as a member or a leader in the team.

  12.  Life-long learning:  An ability to engage in life-long learning and continued with 
    professional development to cope up with rapid technological change.

Program Specific Outcome : (PSO are statements that describe what the graduates of a specific engineering program should be able to do.)

After the completion of IT program students will have: 

​

  • An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics,  basic computing fundamental and problem solving strategies to provide effective IT solutions.

  • An ability to solve real-world problems using  IoT, Cloud computing,  Data science, computer network & security, Machine learning and different hardware & software tools.

  • An ability to communicate and work effectively as an individual, member or leader in team to manage projects effectively to achieve the desired goal
